  1. Well, usually that's when people start creating unnecessary drama in other people's lives, isn't it??

  10. A long time ago, I had a chance to marry someone who had some money. I wouldn't have had to think about money again. But I didn't marry her. I always worried that I wouldn't know what to do with myself. And that I would lose my purpose and my drive.

Of course, now I think.....what's wrong with just sitting back and relaxing?

  12. Let my husband squirm through imagining all the terrible possibilities that must be wrong when he asks me "What's wrong?" and I say, "Nothing." Ah, the Feminine Mystique...

  15. Whoa- this one is really good! It brings to mind one of my favorite quotes: "All men's miseries derive from not being able to sit quietly in a room alone." (Blaise Pascal)
n.p. Someone should put your aphorisms to music- these aphorisms would make powerful, beautiful song lyrics. Music that would open minds and hearts. Nothing is wrong! You know what we do? Celebrate!

  17. I knew someone who could always tell you what was wrong. She would moan and groan about the awful things in life. I asked her once what would happen if you woke up and everything was fine. She told me "I would be in a different life".
