Boredom is the price one pays for not enjoying everything.

  1. I sometimes find that if I work hard to enjoy something, rather than just admitting I don't enjoy it and getting it done, I'm actually more bored.... Is that wrong?

  6. there are situations, that are hardly enjoyable, but not boring. and there are moments when pleasure becomes boring. it's tricky I would say :)

I always say that only boring people get bored; it's really only a matter of either engaging with your current circumstance to embrace it as enjoyable or, at the very least, retreating into your mind for what else is enjoyable. There's always an image, song, or story to work through inside my grey matter to help pass the time.
