Marty, This reminds me of "Blessed are the meek for they shall inherit the earth." This is completely relevent today and in TN watching everyone pull together and help those in need from the flooding of the Cumberland River. Truly makes you feel thankful for kind hearts & warm quotes right now, thanks Marty. And I am still waiting for my signed copy of your new book! :-)
Hi thanks for stopping by my blog and leaving a comment. I don't know if you can see the comment that I posted so I will leave it here. I want to especially thank you. You are one of the first people that put me on your friends list. So Big Hug....Thanks..Be well...I put it under this because I am living proof of expecting little and being surprised.
Yes.. indeed they are..the ancient book of the Hindus says something similar.."Work..and do not expects the fruits of your labor.." ..that is the voice of God :)
Unless there is less than nothing, A number beyond zero, Minus any point of view, Where those who expect everything, (Including nothing,) Will be more than surprised, How fast time flies, Without wings, For surely there the blessing lies.
Most tragic disappointments come from expecting too much. A simple remedy for heartaches is to expect nothing at all--give and share, and then end that with a period and a smile.
AWESOME!!!
ReplyDeleteHow true this is!...
