Gravity is true for matter but not for the spirit.

  1. Universal Gravity
Paper 12 from the Urantia Book makes for some interesting reading.

All forms of force-energy — material, mindal, or spiritual — are alike subject to those grasps, those universal presences, which we call gravity.

Enjoy the long weekend. Oh that's right, every day is the weekend. Well it still applies then.

  5. Yes, totally true! Our spirits, in any situation, can float freely in the air, it's only a matter of believing or desiring it.. or even training it!

  6. What an excellent aphorism! Drop the dead weight of the physical form, you shall fly in between the clouds, and beyond.

Have a beautiful day ahead, Mart. Keep smiling!

  8. When we finally understand dark matter and dark energy we may be able to find how the force of gravity fits into a 'Theory of Everything'.
In the meantime we are left with the forces we believe we understand and have the temerity to attempt to harness them.
That gravity remains outside our understanding is probably an extremely good judgement of our intelligence and our ability to control our desires.
I feel gravity is not only true for matter but also remains the one power true for the spirit.

  9. This is a nice one, I think that our thoughts, feelings and emotions can't be explain by physical laws.

  12. We are fortuitous if we can avoid feeling heavy in spirit from time to time.

  14. Where my belly is concerned, I may have to disagree! Have a great weekend yourself--and kudos on living TV-free. I grew up that way, and it was what inspired me to start writing at a young age.
