My daily aphorisms. Reflections on life, death, beauty, change, love, happiness, etc., written in a poetic and whimsical style.
A fool is always a fool; a curse always a curse,Neither have a blessing to be divine,The sun is a star that will reply to both,I’ll be damned if I will not shine.
Was the fool surprised when it rained?
Anyone who curses sunshine is most certainly a fool. Another gem, Marty!
So true - we so often think our feelings and beliefs are reality.
if you go through life looking down , you'll miss the sunshine!
"It is better to remain silent and be thought a fool, than to speak and remove all doubt." Abraham Lincoln
We are always peering into the mouth of the gift horse and wondering where the rest of it is.
How about the fool who curses the rain? ;-)
@Harvey: that's the same fool.
So true! I love this aphorism, NP. So, if you can't be a sun, be a shade.
Unfortunately, Fools will continue to curse and luckily the sun will keep on shining.No need to worry about until they try to fool others too. Best Wishes!
;-) Good one!
