I like this one the best. You ended the week with a bang! The yin/yang of the sky is what makes it beautiful. I noticed your blogroll. Would you kindly add mine?
I have this inner conflict between a strive for passion and power vs. a strive for peace, contentment and tranquility...I never seem to be totally satisfied going either way. I do know that I look forward to the quiet times when I feel that I have worked hard enough to deserve it.
I think this aphorism is a beautiful way of sparking an appreciation of the need to have a peace at our innermost core...the quiet within each of us that can remain a constant source of strength in our lives.
biggest attraction of sky that it has power to pull towards it,its graceful smile and wise silence is symbol of specific hold on life which look at a thunder as it is an angry spoiled child just want some attention to express its demand loudly,
i try to listen story of thunder too often it is long hard work of silence which create the storm,it take quite time to bear consistently and then just blast,
This one was really a hit! Causes us to think deeply into the message. Quiet inner strength is lasting power. Emotion and passion are necessary to express, but they rarely last. Still, the thunder (the emotion) can make life interesting and shake us up once in awhile.
Beautiful, NP : ) I love this one....Cheers from someone who greatly appreciates the quietness of our presence!!
ReplyDeleteI really love thunderstorms. Thank you np.

ReplyDeleteExactly, loud people might distract the crowd but it is the sensible and sensitive ones that could make the lasting impression.
ReplyDeleteIn the same manner, wait for other people to appreciate your success rather than bragging about it.
I really like this one! (not that I don't like the others - Mon, Wed, and Fri's are good days) :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing NP
Excellent! Lao Zhi had same thought, a little different on expression.

ReplyDeleteLet's hope that's the case re. the current government shut down! There's a whole lot of 'thunder' being produced right now. I hope 'calm' prevails.
