Sometimes the simple approach is the best, isn't it? Too often we make more out of things than we need to. Much easier to conquer problems and taks when we keep them small.
When I attach myself to specific outcomes and I am adverse to others I don't get the most out of life because that means I'm preoccupied with trying to control what happens. When I relax, and remain open minded and go with the flow I get more out of life. I experience unexpected opportunities to enjoy life in ways I would have overlooked if I had been preoccupied with controlling.
Just a belated thanks for your nice comment almost a year ago ... last May 6, methinks!
It was to my Even A Caveman ... post on the Magic Moments feature of the "Ye Olde Barbershop" blog.
As you know, that was not long after Carol's passing ... I don't treat saying thanks as if it's nothing, it just fell through the crack5 ... only saw it just now ... a magic moment ... apologies, and thanks again!
there are special moment we keep as a corner to go ,sit and feel out of life,
but still it is up to us that taking every breath with such comfort level which can make us feel out of the life, and believe me it comes when we love life. but LIVE JUST IN PRESENT MOMENT and take us little up from all kind of greeds amd MINE.
Yes. Exactly. Whatever you do... do it without attachment to results...and live in the present moment if you would really taste life for the first time.

ReplyDeleteAnother way of getting the most out of life: do everything as if it's everything!
ReplyDeleteMany ways to interpret this one....personally I have found that objectivity is very useful for accomplishing many things : )

ReplyDelete"Oh, it's nothing." Something gracious people say after being thanked for doing something.
ReplyDeleteA truly hard fought for truth.
ReplyDeleteIt's the perfect aphorism to read at the beginning of the day (it's early morning here).
ReplyDeleteI agree with you.
