The mountain is there, and not because you see it.

  1. Food for thought as always :) I can relate that to God and the powers of nature and energy, they are all there but even if we cant see them they exist. How amazing....i have been attuning myself with Reiki again and you can't see the energy flowing from my hands onto the person i am healing yet it is there, it is a fact and the healing powers are proof once their ailments go away....:)

  3. In the same vein, if I run blindfolded through the forest, I may not see any trees, but I should certainly get a feel for them :)

  4. Sometimes the mountain is so big all we see is a wall. How much distance from it can we get to actually see it as a mountain? Should we climb the wall, to get to great heights? Should we run the wall until we find an opening inside?

I specially liked today's aphorism, np. Good one.

  6. Unless I'm blind, I see the mountain; it remains where it appears to be. If blind, I can touch the mountain and others can desribe it to me. It is no illusion, but an uncountable number of electrical energy particles held together by string, chicken wire and chewing gum. At least that's what my grandson says.

  12. Usually it is ourselves that put the mountains in front of us. We don't want to believe that we do; it is hard to accept.
