In my public blogs I am writing for my reading audience as well as for myself. In my personal and "private" journal blog I am writing for myself alone. I have assured that no one else can witness those conversations with myself as they are focused on matters connected with self-expression, and examination and reflection on my personal growth and development process. If and when I feel that parts of my process will benefit my readers then I create and publish posts focused on my journey and what I have learned along the way in my public blogs.
Interesting of you to say that, i remember when i was younger i used to have an inability to speak out my pain, i was terrific at laughing out loud all day long. So i decided to write a journal expressing my inner anger, and sometimes i would leave it lying around in hopes that my parents would see it and know that i was angry inside. As i grew up, i guess i maintained the same sneaky method of expressing myself through words and keeping them lying around for my boyfriends to see lol lol...now i say what is on my mind freely with no inhibitions, but i cant seem to stop expressing it down on paper (now on a blog) lol lol
I like this beaucoup! What's the difference between talking out loud and thinking out loud? There's a pun or aphorism in there somewhere that only you can find.
Assuming one can write sentances, writing, I think, is automatic, once begun; that is, it goes on and on, regardless; indeed, it is unstoppable, once began; but, however, if one can't write essays, like Bacon, then, I think, it is, perhaps, better not to have begun, than to keep on going -- on.
How were your new years celebrations?? Were so very happy?? I do hope so, Marty! I was very happy dancing my way into the new year with Lady Gaga in the DVD! HHAHAHAHAHA! Dancing and drinking much wine with my family! Eating much food, too! Here's wishing you prosperity, success, and beauty in the year 2011! May it be a fruitful one for you!

ReplyDeleteBeautifully said! I'm so glad you speak loud enough so it crosses kilometers of land and I can then hear it!

Always overheard? Maybe sometimes to let go of your thoughts..the paper is doing the overhearing.

Spot on! Blogging is a way of being heard for those who are too lazy to drag the soap box to Hyde Park corner!
ReplyDeleteTo me..
ReplyDeleteWriting is my heart talking with the hope of my mind overhearing.
Sometimes, the heart needs company.
