A good one...but why do they call them "blind alleys?" Or for that matter "Dead end alleys?" How about "no outlet alleys", or maybe "blocked alleys" Even though the somewhere they lead to is nowhere and could be anywhere...
Nothing is wasted. Reality is the great ecologist. Edison didn't fail the four thousand times he tried to make a light bulb. He successfully discovered four thousand ways not to make a light bulb. And the four thousandth and first time there was light.
