My daily aphorisms. Reflections on life, death, beauty, change, love, happiness, etc., written in a poetic and whimsical style.
True! I'm always amazed to see all the ways which a person can do it, too.
Yes, we are the creators of our destiny.
I couldn't agree more with you, Marty! We have the power to create our own hell, but also our heaven! It's a matter of attitude and emotional intelligence, I guess.
Hell of course is a social constrcut, one mans hell is another mans heaven!I hear this one regularly:Religion is for those who fear going to hell;Spirituality is for those of us that have been there.
Marty, as you know, I have been to hell, and I am here to tell you that it is highly underrated. I am glad to be out of it.
maybe it is easier to cope with than Heavenxhenry

Yes we do the hardest feats...of hurting ourselves. Great thought NP.
If we put ourselves through hell what else should we expect? The road to heaven is never paved with hell's expectations.

Hell is where I ended up residing during my separation from the hubby. Did NOT care for it, and will not be going back anytime soon! Now all I have to do is stop beating myself up. That, however, will take time and maybe a little therapy along the way.
Wow, NP--I often think you must be reading my mind (or my journal--lol!).
