In the world of flora, my hero is the buttercup, because it springs up in the cracks of unused roads, on railroad tracks, and in dirt so hard only a jackhammer can break it up. It marches to it's own beat, because it cannot be transplanted into one's garden, and only goes where it wants to. Such courage!!
In the world of children, it is the dying child who tells his mother not to cry, because he is not afraid, only ready.
I am convinced that all heroes of the world are bowing to you now. Children are the flowers which gave a meaning to all our dealings. Your aphorism put my arthiker into an awe. Thank you.
Children to me are angels, they are a relief from a busy day, they amuse me in a gentle way, they are so inspiring, they are innocent but they are very genuine.
Flowers inspire me with the beauty and marvel of nature, children inspire me with their naivety and unfailing hope... like other, both do not consider themselves to be....
Love it! You have a beautiful heart NP
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend~

ReplyDeleteI love this. These are such glorious heroes to have, for both are glorious, innocent and infuse our world with beauty.
ReplyDeleteKids ARE heroes. :) I love seeing the world through their eyes.
ReplyDeleteI do love flowers and children! More importantly, I love the Divine Creator that made these things possible.
ReplyDeleteBlessings!

ReplyDeleteWe would be very grateful to be included in your panoply of heroes.
We entirely appreciate the gentleness of flowers and children, but really - believe us when we say that we can be heroic too.
Respectfully yours,
The Trees

I would only add dogs and maybe, maybe cats. But then, cats could care less what you think about them.

ReplyDeleteSo well said, NP. Especially in light of our political situation right now, I wish the U.S. had a more 'flowers and children' philosophy. Sigh.
