I don't want to be the one who says life is beautiful. I want to be the one who feels it.

  2. NP, this is too beautiful : ) Only someone who has felt the beauty of life can say it!!

  3. ... and I am the one who merged with it, swaying in its currents: smiling.

  4. Feels magical when you can really say it from the heart :)

  6. I want both though - feeling is personal, saying is sharing....(am I too greedy?)...

  12. A lovely sentiment - and one that we should all live by.

  13. There is so much more to "being" and existing...to feeling truly consumed by the beauty of life, but I'm with Paul, I want to say it too!

  14. Beautiful & Profound, as always Marty. Am sure you are the "one who feels it" & out of warmth adds "life is beautiful"

  18. Hi There, Thanks for coming to my blog. Come back anytime... I am enjoying all of your aphorisms.

    Yes---I want to 'feel' life rather than talk about it....
    Hugs,
    Betsy

  21. Hi NP,
    This aphorism touched my deeply. Have you heard of The Navajo Beauty Way Ceremony?

    In beauty may I walk
    All day long may I walk
    Through the returning seasons may I walk
    Beautifully I will possess again
    Beautifully birds
    Beautifully joyful birds
    On the trail marked with pollen may I walk
    With grasshoppers about my feet may I walk
    With dew about my feet may I walk
    With beauty may I walk
    With beauty before me may I walk
    With beauty behind me may I walk
    With beauty above me may I walk
    With beauty all around me may I walk
    In old age, wandering on a trail of beauty, lively, may I walk
    In old age, wandering on a trail of beauty, living again, may I walk
    It is finished in beauty
    It is finished in beauty.
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    The chant version I sing is:
    I walk with beauty above me,
    I walk with beauty below me,
    I walk with beauty around me,
    I walk with beauty within me.
    I walk with beauty all around me,
    When I walk the beauty way,
    I walk with beauty within me,
    When I walk the beauty way.
    May all my thoughts beautiful,
    May all my words be beautiful,
    May all my actions be beautiful,
    May I always walk the beauty way.
    I walk with beauty all around me,
    When I walk the beauty way,
    I walk with beauty within me,
    When I walk the beauty way.
