@Dr. James: Thanks for being the first to comment on my new blog. And I agree with you absolutely about the sound of silence. @Anne Marie: Haha! But I'll bet a part of you loves hearing those sounds. @Ibn: Great to see you here! Thanks for your constant support and encouragement. Really appreciate it. @Agape: I agree. That's why I only post 12 every month or so. But maybe one is even easier to swallow. @Mayday:I like that image. I think that's close to how I feel. Thanks for dropping by.
NP, It looks so nice to see you replying to your readers comments. Although each of your readers interprets these aphorisms with their own style and knowledge but I think it would be great if you could explain your aphorisms with your own words as well.
@L Avery: Thanks for dropping by and for the encouragement. And the wisdom is all yours. @Ibn: They're often an enigma to me. That's why I enjoy so much seeing how others react to them.
When the shades of night fall, it depends on whose hands the cords are in! Congratulations on your new blog, Marty. I'm sure it will be a success. I wanted to be in earlier, but I have spent too much time at the doctors and hospital labs lately.
The sound of silience is the best of non-sounds. Great Post.
ReplyDeleteIn my house, with toddlers, it sure does!
ReplyDeleteNP, congratultions on starting this new blog.
ReplyDeleteThank you for starting it with this thoughtful post.
Best Wishes !
Congrats.NP on your new blog. Wisdom is easier to digest in minute bits! Encore will be tomorrow! Yes?
ReplyDeleteIt falls as slowly as a leaf or a feather so it does certainly not make a sound..

What a lovely new home to visit. Doesn't evening fall as softly as cat feet?
ReplyDelete@Layla! Cat's feet? Well, if anyone could verify the truth of Sandburg's metaphor, it's you.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great thought to ponder! So glad to see that you've expanded to give us a daily dose of your wisdom!

hahahaha, this is quintessential literature! Good luck with the new blog. At the very least, your aphorisms deserve to fall on a calendar. :)
ReplyDeleteSometimes I'm too busy to notice. Therein lies the problem.
ReplyDeleteVery cool to see your new site Marty! Congrats.
NP, You really are something...you inspire everybody.
ReplyDeleteWhy do you ask?
ReplyDeleteWeren't you listening?
