My daily aphorisms. Reflections on life, death, beauty, change, love, happiness, etc., written in a poetic and whimsical style.
May this birthday be just the beginning of a year filled with happy memories, wonderful moments and shinning dreams
Birthday? There's flowers for you at my blog today. You share your verbal jewels so freely which is much appreciated!
surely a life with 50M lottery win will be much richer than mine...? happy birthday!
I actually have a pretty good life in the here and now. My dream life can sometimes be very frightening. I would not want it.
Dreams are only that. When you wake up you only have what you have...but better that then the dreams that become nothing!
Folks, thank for the wishes! But today isn't my birthday, though of course, in a way, every day is.
I like this one. It is a challenge I find to really appreciate my here and now and trust the dreams I have will find manifestation in my actual life.
@Judie: I'm with you. An old journal entry of mine: "If my dreams came true I'd be living in a horror movie."
Very True!!! Great word for the day:) Blessings
How did I miss this one? These are definitely words of wisdom.
you are very right NP, with too much respect for you.
Hey, wait a minute...you are VERY profound. I think you're on to something with this one. :o)
My dreams are never rich in anything but colour but in that perspective they beat life every night and day, (I also daydream.)My life is rich in many things of which I do not dream. That surplus is saved for nightmares.
Dreams are mere movies for the mind...an occasional night's entertainment...scary or sweet, bitter or joyful. Another night at the movies!
True...But sometimes we do not see it clearly.
This one really stops me in my tracks- it is so true! But there is this weird flip-flop where we feel the life we have is ho-hum, just a stepping stone to the grand future life we dream of...What a delusion! Thanks for telling it like it is.
Yes, life is so precious now. We ought to do something purposeful.
