The Importance Of Freedom

Wherever freedom is being discussed, we're all part of the conversation.

  1. Around the world the people whose freedom is being talked about are often shut out of the conversation.

  4. This aphorism is simple yet there is so much behind the words. As humans sharing the planet, we should all be part of any conversation on freedom. But in many parts of the world, individuals seeking freedom are not allowed to be part of that conversation. However, those of us who live in free countries can speak out for the freedom of others, so in that way we are part of the universal conversation. Very thought-provoking, thank you.

  5. A very provocative aphorism, Marty. A society is only as free as its individuals are autonomous.

  11. Yes, the world is only as strong as its weakest link and that often means having the least freedom.
