Little Corners

Don't try to judge the world from your own little corner.

  1. So true. I bear many battles, trying to abstain from judging others is a battle I'm must win every day, no mater what, as long it takes, probably for the rest of my life.

P.S. i think you should change your name from "Nothing Profound" to " As Profound As It Gets" :)

  2. Excellent point. You never know what kind of struggles other people are dealing with.

  3. Another fine offering, sir.

But that's just a judgement from my little corner. :)

  4. I found a similar quote on Yahoo! Answers.
"You never really understand a person until you consider things from his point of view - until you climb into his skin and walk around in it." spoken by Atticus Finch, To Kill a Mockingbird, by Harper Lee.
Thank you for another thought provoking post!

  5. ....or don't judge at all. We are all imperfect beings.

  6. I try not to judge people right or wrong, or as winners or losers, but I do judge based on my experiences with them, people that judge others poorly and verbally too much, I stay away from, as sadly too much of it can get contagious.

  8. My perception of the world is my perception of my little corner - and, it being mine, seems fit that I judge it. There's no other with the same corner, after all.

  9. Judgement from a corner is apt to be skewed... Taking a step across the room and experiencing another 'corner' is very freeing, is it not?

  10. Really like this one, Marty! We should never try to judge others. No one is perfect and no one can truly know anyone else’s experience. We are all in our own little corners. Judge not lest ye be judged.

  14. I love the perspective here, remembering that what we possess is but a "little corner" of the world.

  15. Quoting wise aphorisms for dinner just may not be enough to shelter you from the niggling worry that you just might be a fool for doing so.
