My daily aphorisms. Reflections on life, death, beauty, change, love, happiness, etc., written in a poetic and whimsical style.
Oh, NP, this aphorism is particularly apt and timely. We are all inextricably connected and interdependent, yet we try to fight it by categorizing and pigeon-holing one another. Tolerance comes with being accepting of ourselves, hiding nothing.
ReplyDeleteNP..................you have hit the nail square on the head with this one!
ReplyDeleteExcellent one NP.
ReplyDeleteOne of my favorites, NP. So, so true.
ReplyDeleteWell said. Religion divides.
ReplyDeleteI agree have seen this one in action…what a pity!
ReplyDeleteVery true words, NP. Zero tolerance leads to blind hatred.
ReplyDeleteIncredibly profound.
ReplyDeleteWhat can one say, apart from 'of course'. Thanks again Nothing Profound.
ReplyDeleteThis is so true!
ReplyDeleteI try to keep me out of intolerant thoughts, and it's really hard, coz when you see ignorant intolerant people and teach them, it's a kind of intolerance as well.
I hope you got my point of view, I'm too tired today )))
So very true! Thanks for this one, Marty!
ReplyDeleteThe idea that "God is love" has been lost to that hatred, Marty.
ReplyDelete...and vice-versa also....especially the vice bit.
ReplyDeleteAllan
