  3. Showing vulnerability takes courage, and I'm sure it helps one to open up to life more.

  5. Vulnerability is indeed a beautiful thing - necessary to soul connection between lovers, and also necessary for many other types of relationships. Vulnerability is extremely intimidating to those of us who have been badly hurt in our vulnerability. Unfortunately, this world teaches us very quickly that this is a quality which can be dangerous. In a perfect world, we could all approach ideas, people, situations, learning, fulfilment, in such an open stance.

  6. I completely agree...after all, we arrive naked. Why not just hold onto that good primal nakedness, ready to embrace life's hot little messes?

  8. I faced my fears of the mammogram technician today and it was not so terrifying nor painful ... like the last time. HooRay for courage and stepping out of my cozy comfort zone. :D

  10. Interesting thought. I guess I'm like a lot of people, wearing a thick coat of armor, though I take if off when I'm at home.

  15. Marty, you know that I have been emotionally naked many times on my blog, but I'm not taking off these clothes until the lights are out! I may look o.k. with clothes on, but no one wants to see me naked, I guarantee you. Thanks for the comment on my post, Marty.

  16. I believe the first step is to be completely comfortable in our own skin :)

  17. Clothes are a status symbol, a clear reflection of taste or one's quirky personality. I guess it makes it easier for one to filter out unwanted mates? *Speculation*

  18. I wonder if in this case it's wise to be so black and white about it...say in politics.
In friendship it's probably a good idea used with discretion and tacct

  19. Hi Marty,
Yes go not forward as a shade of grey...pleasing others and following the well trod path. Be proud and strong in what you believe......be naked when you stand up!!
    Always love your work.
