  4. In my search for a way to live I pretend to have a solution the moment my mind is absorbed. The moment I let go I realise that the importance and pleasure derived from anything is temporary. So I move on to the next....seeking to create or find a continuation.

  5. Yes, if you can't lick it, join it. That's how life can be enjoyed to the full. Beware though!

  7. I have learned I don’t have to live my life the way other people expect me to; I must decide what I want from life before others decide for me; there is more than one way to accomplish anything; and I can use skillful means to do good things for myself and help others at the same time.

  8. Everyone has their own path in life, most people believe their pathway is the best one, and that their decision to follow it was the most intelligent decision in humanity, even though they have never tried to experience, or even imagine anyone Else's path.

It is good to know there are many different, correct ways to live.

  9. Very true. I wish people would realise that we need to respect different ways of living. There is not just one truth.

  11. The missing ingredient in most cases is society's general lack of respect for other's differences or lifestyles.

  14. One can proudly say that after one has mustered enough courage to quit the old, and unsatisfying, way, and start a new, but uncertain, way of life. Unfortunately most don't have the courage nor determination. Following one's passion or dream is easier said than done. (well, writing about it is certainly a lot easier..:):))
