My drug of choice is Yes.

  1. Mine is "yes" too. I love hearing it and saying it as well. :)

  2. Mine is adrenaline -- the kind I get from writing as fast as I can until I reach 1,000 words each night.

  3. Mine is NO. Saying yes all the time depletes the well. Saying no replenishes it.

  4. I like what it means....to say yes to things that come your way opens up the ability to experience life without the dominant concept of "fear of change"

  5. Like Layla, I find saying 'no' more empowering and stress relieving than 'yes.' I used to say 'yes' all the time, even when I didn't want to. Now I only say it when I truly want to. As for my drug of choice? I have two: reading and writing. There is no better escape for me.

  7. My drug of choice is beauty: nature, creativity, compassion, courage. A shot of brandy doesn't hurt either.

  8. Coffee, chocolate, and making art. And being out in nature....

  9. I agree, it is great hearing that word (depending on the circumstances, but usually it is wonderful to hear.)

  10. My drug of choice is "whatever". Life is too short and unpredictable to worry about things I can't control. I do the best I can and let the rest roll on....keeps me smiling inside and out!

  11. Had to think on this one Marty! I was a 'yes' person for most of my life - a chronic people-pleaser and that helped speed me into the depths of alcoholism. So my drug of choice today is sobriety and I do whatever it takes to sustain it.
    Smiles and blessings.

  13. All I can say is that is an awesome drug of choice. I think it is my own as well (thank God). :-)
