My daily aphorisms. Reflections on life, death, beauty, change, love, happiness, etc., written in a poetic and whimsical style.
Surely this must depend on whether the mind is open or closed and whether the life welcomes variety?
I have a lot of variety in my work. Does this mean I am a contradiction? Just wonderin'
you know you're alive when you can have a good argument with yourself.PS. Blog Catalog is not working for me and I haven't been able to reply to your message, but thank you - and I'll do so in the next week or so. :O}
Wow, I have to think about this one some more!
Nice one NP! You know how I get variety in life? I have consistency in my inconsistencies - I have far too many conflicting plans and thoughts. Hope you're doing well! :)
People are so complicated, there cannot help but be contradictions within us, I think. Without variety--and contradiction, the world would be much duller. As always, Marty--I very much enjoy your aphorisms.
Our mind is looking for variety of life withoutlooking inside...
My mind would definitely contradict this. :-)
I need to go back to diversity training.
I like this one! Contradiction keeps the mind on its toes.
I feel this captures my current protagonist rather well---she's a walking dichotomy, yet of more substance/perspective for it.
I like this one! Personally, I think contradiction is also what add richness to identity as well.
Contradiction, or the dialectical method, is a good way to dig up truth.
