I so agree with you NP. Imagine what the world would be like if we can all laugh together. A lot of people take things far too seriously. They need to sit back, relax and have a good laugh about their own silliness and lack of sense of humour! :)
I agree with laughing at yourself once you realise you are at best a comedian but when it comes to laughing at the world where is the audience that would appreciate such an action?
I've been laughing at myself, it's fun, really. Thank you Mart for this reminder. It's something we all need in the world of constant melodrama about every single thing.
A big LOL for you. Happy Labor Day! Btw, did you see I mentioned your blog in my interview at my blog today?

ReplyDeleteBefore you laugh at people, look at yourself in the mirror and ask, "Will the world laugh at me?"
ReplyDeleteParticularly when you find it unfunny. May it lighten the mood.
ReplyDeleteBest not to take ourselves too seriously, mos def.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the laughter reminder. I definitely need it. Have a wonderful weekend.
ReplyDeleteGood. I will do it.

ReplyDeleteI laugh at myself on a daily basis, and more times than I care to count, now that I have gotten older.
ReplyDeleteYour words are food for the soul
ReplyDeleteHello NP, this is another perfect stuff you made, I always laugh at myself actually especially on mistakes I made!
ReplyDeleteTruly, if people can laugh at themselves, that is such a gift. None of us should take ourselves too seriously.

ReplyDeleteAwesome! Sounds like something Mark Twain would have said.
