Education is the exchange of one set of prejudices for another.

  5. I think this is basically true. People are born knowing how to think for themselves. If education were approached with this understanding, and taken with a grain of salt, maybe people would trust themselves to explore possibilities, instead of relying on what others tell them they should think.

    prejudices by which we might feed ourselves and pass them on to our ignorant children...or so it seems to me.

  8. Unless you lead them to explaining their point of views and listening to that of others and accepting and appreciating the differences. A teacher must never show her/his stance.
