My daily aphorisms. Reflections on life, death, beauty, change, love, happiness, etc., written in a poetic and whimsical style.
How do you define truth, Marty?
ReplyDeleteNo, 'the whole truth and nothing but the truth' I say.
ReplyDeleteInteresting.
ReplyDeleteI do wonder if we should always tell the truth. Sometimes it's better to say nothing.
I agree!
DeleteWhen playing truth or dare, I always choose dare. I guess I'm not all that interested in truth!
ReplyDeleteSome truths can be hurtful, but I think they should just go unspoken, and not replaced by a lie.
ReplyDeleteYes, Only if it leads to fight !

words of wisdom ;-)
ReplyDeletePoeticising is at the scene of the crime... as I like to say, "lies can be embarrassing if found out, but the truth can get you locked up immediately."
ReplyDeleteIf you don't have something good to say...
ReplyDeleteit reminds me of "you can't handle the truth!" so JN "moderated" IT.....
ReplyDeleteEven the truth hurts when it comes at you from behind.
ReplyDeleteInteresting, Marty. I believe most everything ought to be in moderation. Sometimes even the truth benefits from moderation, especially when considering another person.
