You beautifully express this truth. It is both amazing and humbling that something as simple as a word, gesture or thought can have this kind of impact. It is a secret power that we all possess.
ReplyDeleteWell, some souls are intangible!
ReplyDeleteIndeed. That's one of the reasons I write and I know your words touch me.
ReplyDeleteHow beautiful indeed. And what's better is your originality. I Googled aphorism and there were tons of new sites with aphorisms but no one does what you do! We salute you tomorrow at Boomer Muse.
ReplyDeleteindeed the communication among life souls is one of the most beautiful thing.
ReplyDeleteThere isn't anything better then that!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful statement, it is a nice thought that something we can say or do can effect another in a positive way. Really it must be one of the very most important parts of existing.
ReplyDeleteIt's one of the most precious things you can do, is to touch someone's soul in a beautiful way. Great post.
ReplyDeleteSo - could I say that this aphorism is a beautiful touch?? (Too corny?) :)
ReplyDeleteI love that words do touch in a way that you can't do in any other way. I know that I've caressed many a soul with words in my life, and it truly leaves me humbled, and awestruck that my words can bring such feelings.
ReplyDeleteThis is precisely why I enjoy being an artist and a writer.
ReplyDeleteI suppose you didn't mean touching in the wrong way...:):)
ReplyDeleteI agree with others on the profound idea. It's unfortunate that a lot of times we never tell people when they have moved us in this way. A word of thanks is a nice touch.
ReplyDeleteThank you.
That is a beautiful aphorism, Marty, thank you!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! I hope that through our volunteering we touch many people's souls
ReplyDeleteVery true. Beautiful words, a kind gesture or a loving thought can transform into a beautiful song to other. "To handle yourself, use your head; to handle others, use your heart." - Eleanor Roosevelt on Relationship quotes
