Brilliant? Credit to the victim and blame to the Perpetrator. This is a really good one NP :)
ReplyDeleteAnother great post!
ReplyDeleteThanks
Good one NP,
ReplyDeleteI have been thinking about something similar to this for a while now, it is nice to see it so well said here in print.
OMG, I read your discussion before reading this aphorism. It's exactly what I was thinking, that the process of healing is where we achieve real insight and enlightenment.
ReplyDeleteTrue and beautiful. As always.
ReplyDeleteVery profound and very true. I really like this one, Marty!
ReplyDeleteBrilliant. And never forgetting that there will not be any healing without wound, though there exists wounds that never heal, hopefully not many....
ReplyDeleteI think the wound can teach, too -- I'll never touch a hot stove again -- but it's what you learn from the healing that matters most.
ReplyDeleteLove posts you can sit back and think about deeply and then understand and smile. A very nice one indeed.
ReplyDeletethis is truly thoughts provoking...
ReplyDeleteThe wound makes you regret why you did it. Then the healing is where the acceptance walks in. Very true.
ReplyDeleteI had to think about this one - which is probably the idea. Good post.
ReplyDeleteBrilliant.. comforting... insightful.. as always Marty. Thanks
ReplyDeleteThe wound, the healing process and the scar can all be teaching moments. After emerging from the aftermath of Sandy, it's comforting to find a new aphorism.
ReplyDeleteThe wound teaches us the meaning of pain, and the healing teaches us the freedom of forgiveness. Good one, Marty!
ReplyDeleteI love this one.
