There is little delight in an loaf of bread that is not sliced; one stomach is satisfied while other stomachs are left groaning. By the same token, a heart alone cannot benefit many, but when hearts are joined miracles happen.
I'll be honest, I don't quite get the heart part of the quote, but the bread part? Oh so wonderful! There's a reason the term 'best thing since sliced bread' is still used today. Awesome, Marty. Absolutely awesome.
Divide in order to multiply and one man's integer is another's fraction.
ReplyDeleteI like this one!
ReplyDeleteThis is a beautiful sentence, these could be such beautiful quotes for a film or animation.

ReplyDeleteThe splendor of a good loaf of bread can only be fully appreciated when it is broken, and then shared.

ReplyDeleteThe second part of this reminded me of a shirt I had in high school which said "Two Hearts beat better than one", something like that. LOL
ReplyDeleteYes, a good loaf of bread is even better when shared! Two hearts do make a whole...if you have two hearts.
ReplyDeleteVery beautiful, NP! We are parts of the same fabric, called life.
ReplyDeleteSharing your wisdom is better than sliced bread ;-) Enjoy your celebration and the blue moon!
ReplyDeleteWhat a nice thought - two hearts make a heart.

I am really thrown into deep thoughts. Two hearts make a heart not one. What does "one" entail?
ReplyDeleteLove this!
