There's always more sky than can be seen from any window.

  3. Wow. This one is really profound, NP. I see a cascade of windows, all the truncated visions we impose on the true vision we're capable of...Nice one!

  8. Good wisdom! For us mortals, we can't get a view of the whole sky, I guess we have to be content with our respective window....hm, hopefully we can move on to a better window as we age, rather than the other way round....

  9. True we perceive and live outside our vehicle and with understanding we find the road to our true selves.

  10. Just like at my dinner table - each of us sees a different portion of our world from where we sit - and therefore will describe the outside life in different words - reminds me of the different perspectives of the 4 writers of the Gospels in the Bible. I like this one, Marty!

  13. np, very existential...! And very true. It reminds me of a recent heated "debate" I had. I think it would have behooved us all if we kept your aphorism in mind. :0)

  14. Marty! It's been a while! Thank you for coming by my humble blog the other day while I was whining about the weather. Hehe.

And I am completely with you on "narrow window". The way we see things are completely dependant by the 'window' that we are used to looking out from. Within that limitation, there are so many things to learn, to make sense of.

Sending you a bit of sunshine from Malaysia,

  15. Marty, one of the things I love about Tucson is the sky. I love being able to see the horizon wherever I am. When we got to Atlanta, I get claustrophobic. I know you appreciate this! Thanks for sticking with me, pal!!
