My daily aphorisms. Reflections on life, death, beauty, change, love, happiness, etc., written in a poetic and whimsical style.
We and all things can transcend in many ways, you're right.
They say everything comes from space dust.
I love this one, NP. It's inspiring and humbling at the same time.
This belief is the mother of all spiritual search....
Comments are humorous..Though I believe in Paul's belief
Interesting aphorism, as usual, np.Transcendence can be accomplished in degrees, yet (and despite what I consider my logical mind), I believe in astrology and believe the time and place you are born have a great influence on our lives.Perhaps, if there is such a thing as freewill, we can even transcend that. ;0)
True - it's just the manifestation of those characteristics that are shaped by the time and place. In other words, the circumstances into which you're born, not just the actual geographical place, has great influence on whether "good" or "bad" sides of you prevail.Studies of identical twins, separated at birth, are interesting in this regard (no, I can't quote a specific one!).
Beautiful as always Marty, something within feels confined till it ..transcends its time and place of birth"
That something I think every creature must discover.
As I deepen my meditation practice there is a deepening into the realization that part of me was already at wherever I was going. That it was always already here.
Yes, that's eternity. We exist in eternity then we journey on earth, and quite a journey it is, I'd say!
Perhaps it is better that we don't know what. My best
Agreed, whole-heartedly! As they say, 'there is nothing new under the sun'.
