Always it is our own shadow standing in the way.

  1. I'd say 99% of the time, that is absolutely true and 100% of the time it doesn't matter. You need to choose to be happy, that's for sure!

  2. Did you also notice that all shadows more or less look alike? The shadow ties all humanities together, despite one's tendency to fixate on one's individuality, which incidentally is oftentimes anxious to drive away anything that it believes blocking its way... sure enough including, or in particular, its own shadow.

  4. It is a deep thought, I like it a lot. Shadows are also the ones which leads to unknown, you see it, but you never SEE IT.
I like the understanding that what ever we choose we win and lose something. It is stupid to fight with our "shadows", because we will have them anyway, but it is good to know and to control them - how big you want them to be and where they are going to be (in front, back, under or next to you).

  6. Happiness is an emotional response to events and by moderating our attitude to stimuli, we become responsible.

  8. That pesky shadow! The hardest thing is to spot it and recognize it's reach. When blurred by multiple light sources, identifying the main shadow can become quite a challenge.

  9. If you always try to face the sun, your shadow will be behind you, and you won't see it so much!!!

Thanks for the sweet comment, Marty! Happy New Year!
