I guess on "second thought" nobody will say "thanks" to others (there really no REASON to say "thanks" other than for the selfish reason of expecting a "return" which defeats the purpose or meaning of saying "thanks" in the first place!), so better keep our intellect at its rightful or proper place, and just say "Thank you"...:):)
