My daily aphorisms. Reflections on life, death, beauty, change, love, happiness, etc., written in a poetic and whimsical style.
Too many people do, though!! :-)
ReplyDeleteEnjoying the ride on our living planet. she is so beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI agree. We don't really "try" to do anything. Anything we do is out of our natural need - all we need is experience our life.
ReplyDeleteLove the simplicity and humor in this aphorism! It speaks to me about one's deep appreciation for the magnificent phenomenon called life.
ReplyDeleteLove this one! My philosophy most of the time. :-)
ReplyDeleteThis endeavor of making things better-applied to ourselves, the human beings-is a theme around which I developed my blog. It rests on a conviction that no matter what, throughout our lives, there is scope to be better us.
ReplyDeleteThe world is a weirdly roundly bally floating out in spacey...
ReplyDeleteThe Earth, yes: The inhabitants, maybe. :-)
ReplyDeleteIt reminds me of a part of the serenity prayer:
ReplyDeleteGod grant me the serenity to accept what I cannot change.
Some things are best left alone, aren't they? I wonder, though, if we tilt the axis just a little bit...better weather, or the destruction of the earth? ;)
ReplyDeleteSome people try and control everything, cutting the grass, pruning the trees, paving over the earth, painting the wood etc.
ReplyDeleteThank goodness no one has figured out how to control the earths spin yet, because I am sure someone would do it.
YOu're a wise man and I love it here.
