  1. No, we are the ones who project ourselves and our emotions on to--whatever happens to be convenient at the time!

  3. I think it's called anthropomorphizing. We humans have a tendency to do that.

  4. I was just writing about anthropomorphism yesterday...it's so prevalent in our day-to-day. What these natural elements connote is contingent on our frame of mind at the time, I suppose...so this being said, I am looking at a very kind and benevolent wind tickling the trees across the street :)

  6. The bareness of wind and rain are so refreshing without the superimposition of all our mind-stuff. This aphorism wakes me up to the difference between is-ness and the mind-made world masquerading as reality. Thank you!

n.p. the incisive cut-to-the-chase boldness of your words has lit up some energy in me, and I'd like to share a few sentences inspired by your aphorisms.

This moment holds everything I want.

Stepping off the treadmill of futile activity is a radical act.

The root addiction is the addiction to me.

Thank you n.p. for your invigorating blogs.

  13. Nature is a process of events quite indifferent to us. We respond to its beauty and force emotionally. but we must beware of ascribing human emotions to it, it has none.

  17. The wind is never angry,
    The rain is never sad,
    The sun never smiles,
    On what this land had,
    Except when the moon sails,
    Clothed in day dreams,
The queen of the night sings,
    'Nothing is as it seems'.
