... and sometimes the story becomes the mask. Thought-provoking as usual, Marty - thanks for sharing.
You know, NP--one of my favorite things I used to do as a bartender and taxi driver, was getting to know all the people behind the masks. I am such a born sociologist, I always want to hear each person's unique story!
Speaking of stories and masks, what's the deal with your Walt Whitman avatar?
Behind every mask is the one that you want to wear all day...but the world won't let you.
In front of every mask is a lie.Once upon a time there was a Face that looked upon this world with total openness. The Face smiled and created man in its’ image.Man could not match the smile that encompassed the whole world.Man provided himself with a mask to hide his mind from the truth of his failure. The mask is every lie man makes.
I'm glad you found me... so that I could find you. ::smiles:: I love this blog.
some ppl use diff masks... and i hate that
Most people have more than one mask. All of us have at least one. It is human.
Sometimes the masks give a level of confidence which we wouldn't have without them...
and sometimes, a very scary story..
You have a very thought provoking blog. I like it.
Wear the mask to cover the face, every face different life. One face can has different mask also.Have the nice day.
It would be nice if people remembered this in society. Sometimes it seems that people forget that there is a person under the layers of social significs.
Where does it stop? ;-)
I have used this one today on my blog - of course with a back link to you. Come over and have a look :))Thanks for lending it to me, Marty!SusanneSue's Daily Photography
