  1. This is so true! Many persons ( I included) should apply this in their life...It would make the world a better place.

  3. I'm not sure if I entirely agree with that... there are things that are really indispensable for me, such as love, food, family, friends, work, money...

  6. Hahahahaha! How true is that. I'm working on becoming more like Thoreau! "Our lives are frittered away by detail! Simplify! Simplify!

  8. This reminds me of giving up smoking cigarettes. It was indispensable. Yet, the reason I gave it up was simply I did not want to be controlled by something. I felt I was controlled by the need to have a cigarette. Thank you for reminding me Nothing should be indispensable.

  9. Interesting; if I feel even a bit obsessed with something, and I let go of it, and if it doesn't then dispense with me, that must be one of my litmus tests. cheers

  14. Thing. OED.n. a material or non-material entity, idea, action,etc.

Indispensable. OED.adj.1. necessary, 2.of a law duty etc. that is not to be set aside.

I will continue to 'do my own thing' because it is an indispensable part of my nature.
