Nothing succeeds like indifference to success.

  1. I'm still trying to wrap my head around this.

Or maybe I'm trying to just rap about this. :)

    Or:

Nothing succeeds like the fear of success.

    I like it!

  4. You're right - those who do not care and are indifferent to success DO seem to succeed more often than those who struggle. (UGH!)

  7. Actually, I understand this completely. What's more, I am in shock and awe that I do! Does this mean I am finally a grownup? OMG, this is so scary that I am glad I am leaving for a while.

  8. I really love this one. It's like "success is what happens when you are making other plans". It's the doing the makes you successful, not the wanting success.

How come you can say this is such fewer words than I can, Marty?

  13. Being indifferent to the desire for success, whatever that means to you, IS success.

  14. Agreed...who wants to be something which is nothing but an illusion.

    just humbly be yourself.

  15. Another gem! Chase your passion, not success; perhaps success (in worldy terms) will be the icing on the cake, perhaps not. But success, in terms of satisfaction, will always be within reach.

  16. I like this one, it is complex and can be taken so many different ways. If you are indifferent will you achieve success or does success only happen when you don't care? Or is that the same thing. Now I am confused. But I like the confusion. Thanks be well
