The Right Way

The right way to cook your eggs is any way you like them.

  3. Eggs-actly. "Ought to" and "should" aren't part of my vocabulary. I'm not into micromanaging myself or anyone else. Cooking eggs is a perfect metaphor for personal taste and freedom, creativity, and non-conformity. They're just as enjoyable to someone who prefers them cooked the same way every time as they are to someone whose palate is more adventurous. That's the beauty of autonomy.

  4. That is so reassuring, NP. As they say, 'do your own thing!'

    Perfect!

  5. It most certainly is! And my right way is happy to share the table with all the other right ways.

  11. Also, we must allow for those who elect not to eat the little things. I do, and scramble the hell out of them.

  12. This aphorism is “egg-actly” perfect! The only “right way” to cook eggs is the way you like them, and that applies to everything you do in life as well.
