My daily aphorisms. Reflections on life, death, beauty, change, love, happiness, etc., written in a poetic and whimsical style.
The quote is just "my cup of tea".
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely, and who is anyone to tell you differently.
ReplyDeleteEggs-actly. "Ought to" and "should" aren't part of my vocabulary. I'm not into micromanaging myself or anyone else. Cooking eggs is a perfect metaphor for personal taste and freedom, creativity, and non-conformity. They're just as enjoyable to someone who prefers them cooked the same way every time as they are to someone whose palate is more adventurous. That's the beauty of autonomy.
ReplyDeleteThat is so reassuring, NP. As they say, 'do your own thing!'
ReplyDeletePerfect!
It most certainly is! And my right way is happy to share the table with all the other right ways.
ReplyDeleteAnd beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
ReplyDeleteI like to stay sunny side up
ReplyDeletePerfect NP.
ReplyDelete2-poached on light rye.
Cheers, ic
Every single person needs to find their "way" in which to get thru everyday. Perfet one NP.
ReplyDeleteJust what I needed :)
ReplyDeleteUnless you are cooking them for your wife, in which the right was is the way She likes them.
ReplyDeletetotally true.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely! I like what Dan said, too. :)
ReplyDeleteAlso, we must allow for those who elect not to eat the little things. I do, and scramble the hell out of them.
ReplyDeleteThis aphorism is “egg-actly” perfect! The only “right way” to cook eggs is the way you like them, and that applies to everything you do in life as well.
ReplyDeleteHow stupid we can be! (But we don't realize it until it realy counts.)
ReplyDeleteAh, I like this
ReplyDeleteBut kooked they must be....
