My daily aphorisms. Reflections on life, death, beauty, change, love, happiness, etc., written in a poetic and whimsical style.
Insightful as ever, cheers.
ReplyDeleteI think I have the free translation of my life. It makes very little sense, and I can't tell which way up it is.
Ha. Nice one NP
ReplyDeleteAs Dale says, difficult for us alone to make it out. We need other people to help with the reading I reckon.
Cheers, ic
I try to make some sense out of my life but much of it is not in my control. "I can't read it."
ReplyDeleteMy life is my book and I CAN read it. Only, I don't understand it!
ReplyDeleteGreat! It can have so many meanings. I'd like to think there are portions that are unbearable to read!
ReplyDeleteHow about reading it backwards?
ReplyDeleteVery true!
ReplyDeleteAnd when you get close to the end and look back at the whole story... it tends to show a wonderful adventure ^^

Once in a while, I love to review the past chapters of my life, but the most fun is wondering what will come next. Life is quite an adventure. There's a great book in all of us.
ReplyDeleteIt might be written by a hand foreign to us, in a language foreign to us. We must begin writing down what we want in life, only then can it become eligible to us.
ReplyDeleteNot being able to read my book is the exciting part and the scary part at the same time.
ReplyDeleteVery interesting aphorism, Marty! Can we truly ever know ourselves? Every day is a new chapter in our individual book of life. We can glimpse it but we can’t truly read it because we are constantly writing new lines, new chapters.
ReplyDeleteIt seems as though the books of others are easier to read than the ones we write ourselves. Maybe it's through knowing others that we are constantly being revealed to ourselves. Great aphorism, Marty!
ReplyDeleteInsightful as always Marty. One suggestion has been to write a book, that has answers to ones questions!
ReplyDeleteMy life is a book but I'm still writing it, some people may look into it to see what I've wrote so far, I can't read it, I never will, i just have to enjoy writing it, for other to read it, live a full life so other would want to read it :)
ReplyDeleteOnly those on the outside can read the book of your life...
ReplyDeleteNice one NP, nobody knows you, not your mum, your friends, your lover, or yourself.
