  1. I know a company where people are good at this. They create problems then solve them, and congrat themselves for solving them.

  3. Quilted versus non-quilted paper towels? Softer, quilted toilet paper sold by bears in the woods? Non-caffeinated, calorie free, water from New York water system in plastic, non-reusuable bottles? The list is endless...we are addicted to the useless, un-needed, solutions to non-existance needs. We call it modern life. Nice one, Marty.

  4. True true and too true.

Most of the time you ought to simply laugh at things instead of stressing over their answers.

  5. Ha! Isn't that the truth--sometimes we get so caught up in the solution that we fail to see that none is needed. Life often works out its own problems far better than with our meddling.

  7. People inventing solutions for problems that never existed in the first place.

Why go through all that trouble when everyday, the world faces serious problems?

Why can't we have solutions for hunger, war, poverty? They're the problems that needs tackling.

PS Thank you so much for your lovely message, NP. You're one of the first people who welcomed me to BC and of course, one the nicest. I'll never forget that. :)

  8. Problems are often opportunities to challenge ones intelligence. However, solutions are generally short term in nature. We must always seek truth. Love is a good place to start. Great post Marty. You always get the idea ball rolling. Thank you.

  9. Problems are challenges disguised as such for us to find the silver lining.
And so, they make us stronger if we view them as an opportunity for growth and change.
    Or weaker...

  10. You somehow have successfully detangled some lame knot of thoughts in my mind. Thanks Mart, and oh yeah of course you had to be the rebel then at the ripe age of 18. I could sniff that by just reading your aphorisms! =D
