  2. This is probably the saddest aphorism so far, and so completely true honestly.

  3. It's true. But the cat wins because eventually they will grow before someone clips them. Hee hee. Dita

  4. ...because they're natural, which means they shouldn't have been messed with in the first place!

  5. My friend had a cat that was declawed, but he always chased the other one that had full set of claws to hiding. One day he went out and never came back - the area she lived was full of cayotes.

  6. It might well do, they do soon grow back again.

  8. If you believe, no proof is necessary. It's in your mind, in your heart, within you. If you don't believe, no amount of proof will make things possible.

    Love this one NP. :)

Use to have a cat called Lekker - a beautiful baby she was.

  9. Besides the deep meaning of your aphorism, as usual, is true when cats are declawed (which is very cruel!) they will still use their scratch post, carpet or anything else (like your legs) scratchable with a very happy face!
You see they are just marking their territory.

  10. True enough--both in the deeper meaning and in the more literal one. The deeper one took a while to speak to me.
