A time and a season for everything, but happiness first.

  1. Yes, you are right, but Oh how I wish happiness was always first :)

  2. I can't say that I am always happy. Sometimes I sacrifice happiness in the short term to achieve it in the long term. Still, happiness is always the goal!

  3. Without happiness, the chapters and verses do not flow. Very true, NP :)

  4. I'm halfway there- but I think there are things that can be placed above happiness. Like Truth. Justice. Equality. And those things don't always make people happy per se. Just a thought... I think if the right things are placed on the foundation, happiness will follow as a given.

  7. Interesting and I think you are an eternal optimist, Marty! (And that’s a very nice thing to be!) Would be nice if happiness came first, in theory it sounds perfect. But the reality is that you cannot always wait for happiness to come first, often you must do what you need to do for the time and the season...and then comes happiness.

  8. Happiness isn't just a superficial feeling; it's the state of being we were born with, but many of us forget when conscious reasoning sets in. When we tap into the happiness that comes from within, instead of seeking it in that which is external, nothing's a sacrifice.

  10. As crazy as it sounds to some people sometimes it's hard to figure out how to be happy. For those we must take care of and try to help.
