A Simple Truth

A breath, to keep you going, must be your own.

  1. True. You must also have something to breathe in.

  2. Thanks for this aphorism, Marty. I've often seen my writing as breathing. Every fragment or aphorism I write is a breath. And when someone likes what I've written, or I like what someone else has written, it's like we're breathing together, while each breath continues to be our very own. We are isolated in our own breaths, and yet we all breathe the same air. Breathing deeply. Breathing alone. Breathing together.

  4. So precious is a breath of life...it's not until you struggle to breathe that you realize how important it is to you. Nice post as usual

  7. Love the simplicity of this one. Breathing and inspirational come from the same Latin source. Have wonderful weekend!

  9. Definitely, and it matters what kind of air you breathe.
