Chasing The Rainbow

Enjoy the rainbow while it lasts and don't chase it when it's gone.

  1. I love this statement. It means we should live in the moment and enjoy what we have. Today is all we have in our hands; yesterday is gone, and tomorrow is unknown.

Thanks for stating it in such a beautiful and profound way!

  5. That summarises the essence of being in the moment really well. Chasing rainbows leads to disappointment.

however it seems to me that something appear to be rainbow to someone but to be true for someone else.

  8. Poof and it's gone. I love this, and how rainbows dematerialize like ghosts.

  10. Rainbows are like promises, they look so near yet so far. Be happy about the promises but when they are broken, there is no need to cry over them. Promises come and go, but one day you can have the best to make it worth the wait.

  13. I wish it was true that there's a pot of gold at end of a rainbow, then i would not mind chasing it.

  14. This line can be improved a bit...Enjoy the rainbow while it lasts, and don't chase it when it's gone. You see, it's all in the comma: don't never underestimate the comma!

  15. Note to anonymous: Please do not use double negatives. It makes you appear uneducated comma and ignorant.

  16. Learning to accept that things end and cannot be hung on to was one of the most painful experiences I had when I was developing.

I mean mentally and physically painful because I kept grasping for something, anything that was permanent and strong and stayed the same.

Learning to love and let go is like breathing.
