that's enough to me too. simplicity is a beauty!
ReplyDeleteSquirrels! Ya gotta love 'em!
ReplyDeleteTrue, the best things in life are free. The joke is, it's hard to soak them in when your bills are unpaid.
ReplyDeleteyes indeed! xoxoxox
ReplyDeleteAh, yes. It s these simple things which, when viewed well with wise eyes, will fill our existence with pleasures to while away the 'winter hours', so to speak. It is a joy to derive a sense of deep meaning and belonging from seeing the true meaning behind our world's many and varied occupants!
ReplyDeleteVery nice to appreciate the simple pleasures! Like this aphorism, Marty. Btw, my dogs enjoy the liveliness of squirrels, too...LOL!:)
ReplyDeleteHmmm. My squirrels are stretched out panting on our bird feeder. Mine are definitely NOT "Lively!" LOL!
ReplyDeleteYou painted a beautiful picture, NP! Your appreciation of these simple pleasures is infectious :)
ReplyDeleteCareful, while two are playing in front of you, distracting you, sometimes one is sneaking up behind you.
ReplyDeleteThe laughter of children, my husband's smile, trees swaying in sea breeze and the ocean lapping the shore are among the many simple pleasures in life I thoroughly enjoy.
ReplyDeleteWe just built a deck on our house in the woods. And that just about describes the experience. :)
ReplyDeleteThe squirrels here are much noisier earlier this year. They usually don't chatter as much until nut burying time in September which feels out of balance. Food for thought.
ReplyDeleteWow... Shows that you derive life from simplicity and nature. Lovely :)
