There’s a proverb that says "give me a lemon and I'll make some lemonade" (or something like this, I'm terrible with proverbs!). So, if we are in the middle of a picnic in a sunny day and suddenly the rain comes, dance and enjoy the refreshment of the delicious drops of water!
This is a very true statement for garden beds, stretches of lawns and shrubbery everywhere!
I love how light and humouristic that one is!
...And it is no picnic when it doesn't.
Living in a drought prone area these words are a real truth for me!
NP--I've been remiss and have had some health problems, so I am now catching up with your wonderful blog. I love this post and to me, it really speaks to who you are (as I see it) because you have the most positive outlook on life. It has affected me profoundly--and I thank you for that.
